What are Skins?
Skins allow you to customise the look and feel of the LOTRO interface, this happens with various applications, it will allow you to tailor you're screen to be mor easy on the eyes or simply allow you to access functions you often use more easily.... it's just like redecorating except for lord of the rings online.

How to Get Skins
You can get skins from LotroInterface.com there are many developers who create skins for free simply download whatever skin you wish to use and follow the instructions below.

How to install skins
1. Download you're chosen skin from LotroInterface.com
2. Extract the files contained within the zip folder
3. Go to "My Documents"
4. Goto the "Lord of the Rings Online" folder
5. inside this folder create a folder named "ui"
6. inside the "ui" folder create a folder named : skins
7. Copy the interface folder into the "skins" folder
8. the path to the skins should look something like this
C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\ui\skins\SKIN-Name/\List of Files
9. Open up LOTRO Game
10. Login , Open the Options Menu in the in game screen
11. Open the "ui" Menu
12. Scroll down till you find Misc, simply click the dropdown box and choose which skin you wish to apply
14. Enjoy the fresh new Skin!
