Breif introduction to the Balrog
Balrog's are the spirits of fire, they are beings from the same order as Sauron & Gandalf. The first dark lord seduced them into his service, in the first age. There numbers are not known but there are believed to be very few, Gandalf fought and defeated a Balrog in Moria.

How to defeat the Balrog: Tactic
Firstly stock up on as much Elf medicine as you can get as the Balrog has around 70,000 HP. Give the medicine to Gandhalf to bring you back to life as you will get more HP if he brings you back to life. Also an added bonus is to equip and Fire protection elf stones you may have (if you don't have any they can be found at almost any auction house)
